How to Register for Wüstenrot eServices: Step-by-Step Guide

Before you can use service.wuestenrot.at or the Wüstenrot App you need an eServices account. Registration is done online and takes only a few minutes if you have your documents ready.

What you need

• A Wüstenrot product (account, Bausparvertrag, loan or insurance policy).
• A smartphone with the Wüstenrot App from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
• Your e-mail address and mobile number.
• Either ID Austria or online banking access at your house bank for identity verification.

Step 1 — Start the registration

Open the registration flow from the Wüstenrot website or directly in the app. You will be asked to authenticate yourself.

Step 2 — Verify your identity

Wüstenrot lets you prove who you are either via ID Austria (the Austrian state digital identity) or through your existing house bank. According to Wüstenrot, this verification is handled securely by its partner FINcredible.

Step 3 — Receive your credentials

You then receive two separate pieces of information, sent through two different channels for security:

• your Verfügernummer (user/disposer number) by e-mail, and
• a first-login one-time password by SMS.

Step 4 — First login

Log in with those two credentials. You will immediately be asked to choose your own new password and a five-digit approval PIN (Freigabe-PIN). Read our first-login and PIN guide for tips on choosing both.

Alternative: paper application

Wüstenrot also offers an application form for eServices participation that can be sent by e-mail to the address listed on its official FAQ page. This is useful if you cannot use ID Austria or house-bank verification.

Common problems

• No SMS arrives: check that your mobile number is stored correctly and that your phone accepts SMS from short codes.
• E-mail missing: look in spam or promotions folders.
• Existing eService users do not need to register again — simply use your previous login data.
